Padel+

Privacy Policy

We built Padel+ with a simple principle: your data belongs to you and only you. We don't collect it, we don't store it on our servers, and we never share it.

The short version

We collect absolutely nothing

Padel+ has no backend server, no analytics SDK, no advertising network, and no third-party trackers. Every byte of data the app produces stays on your device and, if you have iCloud enabled, in your own private iCloud account.

On-device storage

What lives on your device

Padel+ stores the following data locally using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device except through your own iCloud account (see below).

  • Match history — set scores, winner, match duration, and date for every session you record.
  • Health metrics — calories burned and average heart rate as reported by your Apple Watch for each match. This data comes from HealthKit and is read only when a session ends; it is stored solely within the app's local database and your iCloud.
  • App preferences — settings such as default match duration and serve position.

You can delete all of this data at any time by deleting the app from your device.

iCloud sync

Your data, synced by Apple

If you have iCloud Drive enabled on your device, Padel+ uses Apple's CloudKit to keep your match history in sync across your iPhone and other devices signed in to the same Apple ID.

This sync happens directly between your devices and your personal iCloud account. We — the developers of Padel+ — have no access to your iCloud data at any point. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

You can disable iCloud sync for Padel+ at any time in Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Apps Using iCloud.

HealthKit

Health data stays private

Padel+ requests access to HealthKit solely to read workout metrics (active energy and heart rate) from your Apple Watch at the end of a match session. This data is:

  • Read only after a session completes, never in the background.
  • Stored only within Padel+'s own local database and your iCloud (as described above).
  • Never shared with any third party.
  • Never written back to the Health app or used for any purpose other than displaying your match summary.

Apple requires apps to obtain explicit permission before accessing HealthKit. You will be asked to grant this the first time the app needs it, and you can revoke access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Padel+.

Payments

Purchases go through Apple

Padel+ offers a one-time in-app purchase to unlock the full app. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple's App Store and StoreKit. We never see, handle, or store your payment information. For details, refer to Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children's privacy

Safe for everyone

Because Padel+ collects no personal data whatsoever, it is safe to use by people of any age. We do not knowingly collect information from children or anyone else.

Updates to this policy

We'll tell you if anything changes

If we ever change how Padel+ handles data, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date below. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
